Hi everyone, let me start with the disclaimers, I am not a writer, in fact, English was one of my worst subjects.  I am a nerd/geek at heart, but we will not be covering too much about technology on this blog.  I am was a very private person, only sharing with close friends so here goes…

I lost my job that I had for nine years and spent a year discovering what I should do next in my life. While I’m still working on that, I do know that I want to incorporate more of my love for discovering new places, people, and things into the next phase of my life and not just sit behind a desk every day.

Thus the birth of the Start New Beginnings website so I can share this journey with you and hopefully inspire others to do more of the things they love or step out of your comfort zone and start something new.

New beginnings for me are not New Year resolutions or goals. They are experiences that you have that will hopefully be incorporated into your life that will help you grow as a person or just bring you some joy and happiness.  Only a few examples from 2017:

  • Started working out three times a week. We all know the benefits plus it got me up early in the morning.
  • Took photography classes for six months and now I look at everything in a new light always thinking how that would look like a picture. My appreciation of what I see through my lens has been planted, and I am looking forward to how this grows.
  • Learned how to swim, keep that head down and turn side to side to breathe not up and down. Perhaps becoming certified in Scuba diving is next?
  • Started yoga and meditation. Where have I been all these years?
  • Cooking healthy or least trying to!
  • Discovered seven more countries

I will share all my new beginnings because doing life without living is not an option.

I am looking forward to all that we start!  SUBSCRIBE BELOW and let’s take this journey together.
